Jane is currently a Clinical Research Associate with the Department of General Practice in RCSI. She is originally from Canada and worked there for many years as a general practitioner with a special interest in care of the elderly before moving to Ireland.
Research
Jane has recently completed a Masters in the Clinical Science of Family Medicine through Western University in Canada. Her thesis work examined the role of compassion in family medicine using qualitative methods. She is currently completing qualitative research focusing on patient and general practitioner perspectives regarding contributing factors to hospital admission in elderly patients with multimorbidity.
