Teresa Pérez is Senior Lecturer in Statistics at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).

She currently teaches Biostatistics both for undergraduate and postgraduate students, in Applied Statistics and Health Sciences. Her main research interests include survival analysis, longitudinal data, joint modeling and diagnostic studies. Her expertise covers methodology in the field of Oncology, Neuroscience, Cardiology and Women’s health. She has been advisor in the Pharmaceutical Industry for five years. She is member of the Independent Data Monitoring Committee for several observational and randomised controlled trials in Spain and UK and she also collaborates with national and international companies and government administrations.
