This meeting was attended by academics, clinicians and post-graduate students in healthcare research. Professor Jones described his role as an editor of the BJGP and discussed the common pitfalls that he encounters when researchers submit manuscripts for consideration. Furthermore, he highlighted methods of dealing with reviewer feedback and measures taken by the BJGP to ensure transparency in the peer-review process.
